Review of: "Government interference in election administration and lethal electoral irregularities in Africa: Evidence from Nigeria"

Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.The theme chosen by the author is extremely interesting.Every time an election is held, most African countries experience post-electoral crises in which the results are contested.Yet an institutional framework exists almost everywhere on the continent and is supposed to guarantee the regularity of the electoral process.The author's study focuses on a legal loophole in the electoral process and examines its impact on the ballot and, more specifically, on voter confidence.In terms of content, the article seems to be effective as it stands and, in my view, does not merit any further amendment.In terms of form, however, the author should correct a minor oversight relating to the date and period used for his analysis.
