Teacher cognition and language education: research and practice in the Libyan curriculum
Résumé
This study examines teacher cognition in the context of English language education within the Libyan curriculum. It explores the beliefs, knowledge, and thought processes of English language teachers in Libyan educational institutions, and how these factors influence their instructional practices. By analysing the connection between teacher cognition and teaching practices, the study aims to provide insights into improving English language education in Libya and contribute to the development of evidence-based professional development programs.
