A fuzzy approach to provide different information retrieval results for the same query
Résumé
Abstract In this paper, we present a feature of our information system which provide different results for users even they submit the same query. This differentiation is due to a main input taken in consideration: the user’s age. Besides of this input, results differentiation is based on the centralized document valorization defined in this paper. A centralized Web document’s content is mainly concise and focusing on the user interests materialized by keywords query. While an information retrieval process, web documents are ranked according to their relevance to a user query. This ranking is changed afterward by the valorization of centralized Web documents. The valorization value is based on the document features and the user age. This value could be positive or negative implying thus the enhancement of the ranking of the concerned document or its rank decrease. Hence, the users of our information retrieval system can get different results according to their ages even submitting the same query.
