Abstract The main goal of this study is to study a significant index in epidemiology, the daily infection fatality rate in COVID-19. To do this, we put into application several hybrid models. We use machine learning tools such as Support Vector Machine, Relevance Vector Machine, Random Forest , and statistical models such as ARIMA, BATS and exponential smoothing. We measure the models’ performance using RMSE, MSE, and MAE
