Structural Inference on the Fréchet Distribution Based on the Dual Generalized Order Statistics

Résumé

Abstract Structural inference has been applied to the Fréchet distribution based on the dual generalized order statistics. The coverage rate and the covering symmetry of the structural intervals have been derived. Some statistical measures for the parameters, such as mean, variance, skewness, and kurtosis, have been studied for different values of the shape parameter via Monte Carlo simulations. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the structural method that was developed here.
