Review of: "Weathering changes – livelihood adaptation to weather shocks in rural India by disadvantaged social groups"
Résumé
It lacks major findings and statistics such as the calculated SPIE values and statistical regression values used in the work. Introduction: Extensively talks on migration as an adaptation option and says very little on livelihood activities. What are the climatic non-migrants?? Data: Data set runs from 2000 t0 2010 whereas we are already in 2023. There i need for recent data. Results: Pertinent results but the author could add other adaptation strategies based on livelihood activities. For instance, what measures are developed by the agriculturalists to cope to these weather shocks?. It will equally be interesting to know the if migration is temporal or not and weather it respects seasonal pattern etc Discussions and Conclusion: Findings should be discussed separately from the conclusion for clarity. It would clearly show the knowledge gaps filled. The conclusion should contain scientific and practical perspectives
