English Pronunciation Errors Made by Libyan Students: Analysis and Implications for Language Education.
Résumé
Abstract: This research paper examines the common English pronunciation errors made by Libyan students learning English as a foreign language (EFL). The study analyses the possible factors contributing to these errors, with a focus on the interference of the students' first language (Arabic) and the implications for language education. The data was collected through audio recordings of Libyan EFL students, which were then analysed to identify the common errors. Finally, recommendations are provided to help language educators address these errors in pronunciation and facilitate improved English language acquisition among Libyan students.
