Review of: "Risk Factors and Predictors of Severe Acute Malnutrition Among 6-59 Months Children in Lumbini Province, Nepal: A Facility-Based Cross-Sectional Study"

Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare. This is a great study as it dwelves into the understanding of multiple risk factors which are believed to play role in Severe Acute Malnutrition in Lumbani Province,Nepal. It provides an important stride towards prevention of malnutrition. However, I recommend further investigation on the link between maternal age and SAM as maternal malnutrition might for instance play a role as well. Also, several studies, as mentioned in the discussion part, found significant connection between maternal education and SAM. It is in this line that it would be intuitive of us to recommend further investigation into why this study found unexpected results. Thanks!
