Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.The study represents the stock assessment of six fish species sampled at various sampling sites, a contribution that could make a considerable impact on the exploitation and conservation of these species.However, improvement of certain parts is strongly recommended.Following is a list of comments and suggestions.
