Multivariate statistical methods for analysis of physicochemical and microbiological parameters of well water from the village M’Pody
Résumé
Abstract The aim of this article is to analyze well water from the village M’Pody using multivariate statistical analysis methods. Sixteen physicochemical and micro-biological parameters from four well water sampling campaigns in 2020 were analyzed. A descriptive statistical analysis was used to study the non-potability of these waters. Next, a combination of principal component analysis (ACP), facto-rial correspondence analysis (AFC) and Kohonen’s self-organizing map is used to highlight the different well profiles in the study area. Finally, analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to prove the contribution of these wells on microbiological parameters.
