Bilateral high-riding jugular bulb associated with a jugular diverticulum and dehiscence of the mastoid cells and Trautmann’s triangle

Abstract A 30-year-old man underwent a high-resolution computed tomography of both temporal bones as part of the assessment of horizontal rotatory vertigo, pulsatile tinnitus, and mild hearing loss. First, we observed a bilateral high-riding jugular bulb with a right jugular diverticulum. Then, the right jugular bulb and the diverticulum were dehiscent in mastoid cells and Trautmann’s triangle. This case report illustrates a new presentation of the dehiscent high-riding jugular bulb and jugular diverticulum. We believe it deserves to be shared.
