Use of Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs in Treatment of COVID-19: Safe, Safe, and …. Lifesaving?

Article scientifique 2021 Anglais

Résumé

Updated, peer reviewed and published https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10787-021-00896-7#Sec7 I began my quest for a safe COVID-19 pharmacotherapy in March 2020 while refuting a claim that non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are hazardous to be used in COVID-19, I have first called this claim a scam in a correspondence sent to NEJM (20-06753) and it took me almost six months to lower the tone of my criticism as well as to be joined by other more famous names in order to get it peer reviewed and published at another honorable journal. Similarly, when my full protocol has evolved, it was rejected by NEJM (20-19376) in May 2020 and when was preprinted the next month, I called it a breakthrough DOI: 10.22541/au.159285564.49698842. However, it took more than a year to have it published after dozens of unexplained or poorly justified rejections.
