Review of: "The impact of health worker absenteeism on patient health care seeking behavior, testing and treatment: A longitudinal analysis in Uganda"
Résumé
Potential competing interests: The author(s) declared that no potential competing interests exist. This is an interesting perspective of health-seeking behaviour and one that has not been widely reported in literature especially in LMICs. The authors presented a logical framework that sought to attribute poor user-behaviour to the perennial absenteeism of health workers, and as succintly noted, this is more often an anecdotal experience than a scientifically documented one.
