Résumé

Abstract This work reports a deep physical and chemical study, about different types of sand of the coast in the region of Doukkala: El Jadida, El Haouzia, Lala Aicha El Bahria, Sidi Bounnayem, and Essouiria. Thus, we have using different analytical techniques such as particle size analysis by sieving, mineralogy and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The outcomes of this study, revealed that the main component found for these sands is silicon dioxide (SiO2), with the presence of impurities (iron, clay and organic).
