Résumé

A Dataset of Small-Mammal Detections in West Africa and Their Associated Micro-Organisms" is interesting and well organized.However, the manuscript focused only on rodents, while the title includes many more small mammalian species.Also, the small mammals from which microorganisms were collected all seem to be rodents.Hence, the title shall be revised to "A Dataset of Rodent Species Detections in West Africa and Their Associated Micro-Organisms."In this study, I also expect the lists of small mammals and microorganisms identified to be tabulated based on their taxonomy.I think tables are given as supplementary data but I couldn't access it.
