Corrigendum on: full citation of the original version of the article.Text CorrectionIn the original article, there was an error. “Colombian” was misspelled as “Columbian.A correction has been made to Global DNA Methylation Studies, paragraph 2. “In contrast, a Colombian study using a smaller patient group, observed a global increase in DNA methylation in 44 subjects with T2D compared to 35 healthy controls, which correlated with the percentage of glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) (29).". The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
