Résumé

i) These female migrants are popularly referred to as Kayayei in local Ghanaian parlance are engaged in the business of head load carrying (porterage) to earn a living (ii)The majority of the respondents rated themselves as good (51.5%), fair (27.5%) and very good (21%).
