The author attempts to review the occurrence of PCNs in food and human dietary exposure based on the available scientific literature.The approach used to search for scientific literature is given, but the number of articles that were finally considered by this review is not indicated.Further, the publication range for the search is also not indicated in the paper.This review would benefit from mentioning any future research directions, especially for regions where there are no studies about PCNs in food.The review process would have gone smoothly if the line numbers had been indicated in the paper.Further publication consideration should be based on the responses to the general comments above and the following specific comments.
