Résumé

Analysis of Sustainable Livestock Development as a Source of Livelihood to Farmers of Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir":This study examines the sustainable development of livestock and related challenges in Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir, India.The increasing demand for meat and milk in these regions strains natural resources, particularly land allocated for animal feed production.Livestock production has the potential to surpass other agricultural activities economically but faces obstacles such as deforestation, overgrazing, and waste management issues.Addressing these challenges requires policies targeting underlying causes rather than just external symptoms.Moreover, setting livestock product prices should consider demand for sustainable development.Technological advancements can enhance resource efficiency and increase livestock production.
