Details of search strategies and keywords are missing in the main text. Figures are not self-explanatory and need significant modifications for a better understanding of the topic under discussion.4. Authors should provide more specific examples of various studies that have employed these nanocarriers for protein/peptide delivery.5. Strategies for loading the protein/peptide into these carriers as well as surface modifications through bioengineering that can improve targeted delivery should be discussed.Overall, this review is not extensive and needs significant improvement.
