Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.The work is generally good, but, in addition to the other reviewers' comments, may benefit from:1) Giving some quantitative data in the Abstract to state the range of improvement in properties.2) Explaining the type of product that can benefit from this study, since the 6063 alloy is a wrought alloy used for applications where wear is generally not a major requirement.
