Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.The write-up makes a commendable and timely contribution to the understanding of larger migration scholarship, particularly from the intersections of politics, media, and humanity.The methodology employed is most appropriate, though the inclusion of such media outfits as Al Jazeera would have made the research more colorful and more appalling.Nevertheless, the paper has been able to re-prove the fact that migration has remained central to the sustainability of human existence, particularly from the aspects of economics and innovative tendencies, despite intermittent/routine negative connotations of ingrained processes, especially from the South-North migratory perspective.
