Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.This study was a retrospective review of records of all women who had NIPT at a single feto-maternal centre.This study compared 6 commercial NIPT brands and also looked at the failure rate of NIPT in consanguineous vs nonconsanguineous groups.Overall, the study rationale, methods, results and conclusions are clearly stated.
