PROPRIETES STRUCTURALES D’HYDROXYAPATITES SILICATEES ET ELABORATION DES SYSTEMES COMPOSITES A BASE D’ORTHOPHOSPHATE D’ARGENT/HYDROXYAPATITE EN VUE D’APPLICATIONS PHOTOCATALYTIQUES ET ANTIBACTERIENNES

Résumé

In the first part of this work, powders of pure HAp hydroxyapatites Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 and silicated HAp Ca10(PO4)6-x(SiO4)x(OH)2-x are synthesized by the aqueous precipitation method. All the analytical methods performed (DRX, FTIR, SEM, MET ....) have shown the high purity not only of HAp powders treated at different temperatures from 90° to 900°C but also of silicate HAp powders (Si-HAp) with different Si contents. The Rietveld refinement of different prepared samples showed that the substitution of PO4 by SiO4 resulted in only a slight disturbance of the HAp structure and that the prepared powders are rather silicate oxyhydroxyapatites Ca10(PO4)6-x(SiO4)x(OH)2-y-zOyVz and lightly carbonated oxy-hydroxapatite Ca10 (PO4)6-x (CO3)x (OH)y Oz than SiHAp and HAp. The second part focuses on the elaboration of silver nanoparticles Ag3PO4 by three different methods and the composite materials of the mixed system Ag3PO4/HAp for the photodegradation of certain harmful organic dyes (used in the textile industry) in aqueous solution by a photocatalytic process. Finally, the photocatalytic performances of these composites were then correlated with their antibacterial properties against two strains: E. Coli and S. aureus strains widely encountered in nosocomial post-operative infections in bone sites.
