Monitoring the Microbial Quality of Water.The short review outlined key physicochemical and microbiological standards and described methods for detecting fecal and non-fecal pathogens, including culturing, optical density measurements, and molecular techniques like 16S rRNA sequencing, qPCR, and FISH, including emerging tools such as ow cytometry, micro uidics, and stable isotope probing.The review is well-written and should be published.
