Supplementary Information and data Associated with the paper: "The zircon story of the Niger River: time‐structure maps of the West African Craton and discontinuous propagation of provenance signals across a disconnected sediment-routing system" are provided in four appendices and in the Google-Earth™ map of sampling sites NigerDZ.kmz. three Appendices and the Google-Earth™ map of sampling sites NigerDZ.kmz. Appendix A S1 includes information on sampling sites (Table AA1), , bulk-sand petrography, heavy-mineral assemblages, and and elemental and isotope geochemical datastry (Table A2), and grain- size disribution of zircon grains (Table A3). Appendix B S2 contains the complete U-Pb detrital-zircon geochronology dataset. Appendix C S3 presents a compilation from diverse literature sources of radiometric ages on igneous and metamorphic rocks belonging to the diverse crustal domains exposed in the areas described in this article. Appendix S4 contains the explanatory captions. These three Appendices contain several tables each, and the relative explanatory captions are contained in Appendix Captions.
