Résumé

Brazil showed the growing data on the production and sale of gold jewelry and silver, and the south Brazil one of the most important contributors to the expansion of the sector. Jewelry local companies were analyzed to produce jewelry from fine materials and have significant growth potential, the analysis took into account the functions that gem plays through their personal, social and cultural representations. The study revealed that the design serves as an important ally in the competitiveness of companies and there is a growing opportunity in the development of contemporary authentic jewelry to consumers who seek products with quality, innovation, differentiation and representing the individuality of the user. For this new manufacturing processes and the study of new materials have the potential for this sector, so the process of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) becomes attractive, as well as being a quick process can obtain a large range of decorative films We have an approach to sustainable bias due to the process to be considered clean.
