Remdesivir, Favipiravir and Dexamethasone Linked to SARS CoV-2 Variants of Interest and Concern: Could Molnupiravir and SARS CoV-2 Mass Vaccination Programs Add Oil to The Fire?
Résumé
SARS CoV-2 Variants of interest and concern are considered a real challenge to our medical efforts to stem down COVID-19. We suggest that these variants evolve simultaneously in different countries though detected first in some while postulating that some drugs might share in their evolution and recommending that SARS CoV-2 vaccination, probably the subunit not the gene based or the inactivated ones, should be offered only to the high-risk groups after an informed personalized risk benefit ratio has been weighed.
