Submission and Collaboration: Reassessing Υποτάσσω across Trinitarian, Civic, Marital, Ecclesial, and Workplace Relations

Article scientifique 2026 Anglais

Résumé

The research statement considers the extensive effects of cultural, contextual and theological suppositions on the meaning and use of the biblical concept of submission [ὑποτάσσω]. The research methodology analyses epistemologically the paradigms for existing affirmations; ontologically authenticating archetypal intra and extra Trinitarian relationship; historically and empirically corroborating early and contemporary Christian comprehension and praxis. Knowledge is drawn from authoritative theological and historical sources to assess and articulate the founding principles and assertions of traditional constructs. These findings are critiqued and appraised through the prism of etymology and exegesis to substantiate the old but new paradigm within the scriptural parameters of Trinity, government, marriage, church and work relationships. A critical reassessment of the meaning and usage of the data within these five spheres, examining existing biblical cultural, historical and theological perceptions, consents to a renewed theological hypothesis providing new cogency and coherence, reflective of historical and theological findings. This article articulates an alternate ὑποτάσσω thesis distinguishing subordinate and collaborative postures, correlating Trinitarian and Christocentric primacy defined as source and as a protraction of other forms of relationality. This ὑποτάσσω thesis extends the body of knowledge it’s comprehensive articulation of the collaborative interpretation .
